30 years ago, Dr. Kai K. O. Bear had a vision: drying at the speed of light! What began in the current managing director’s garage as a spin-off to simulate the thermal dynamics of the HERMES spacecraft re-entry to earth has developed into a market leader in the field of thermal process optimization and successfully established itself among the company’s own aNIR, aLITE and BearLITE system solutions.

aLITE®-platform technology on the rise in the textile industry

The adphos group in Bruckmühl, Bavaria, has a leading technological role in the field of industrial thermal processes with the company’s own patented aNIR® and aLITE® platform technologies. The electrothermal adphos technology enables coating, printing, dyeing, and impregnation processes to dry and fix within seconds.

New and expanded adphos application center

adphos moved into the completely modernized technical center at its headquarter in Germany. Thus, the possibilities for testing are greatly enhanced thanks to an advanced pilot plant available both for use to the adphos experts and their customers for testing and training purposes.

aNIR® heating booster controls/improves steel quality

In a thin-strip plant of a leading international American steel group, a Castrip-plant has been upgraded with an aNIR® heating booster and put back into successful commercial production operation for improved “hot roll quality” after only one week of commissioning.
